TypeJotter
In short
TypeJotter collects no personal data. What you write stays on your device and is never sent to anyone, the developer included. There are no accounts, no servers, no ads and no analytics.
1. Information we collect
None. We do not collect or store names, email addresses, location, device identifiers, usage data or any other personal information.
2. What you write
- Your entries (text, notebook names, dates) and settings (font, paper, haptics) are stored only in the storage of the device the app is installed on.
- The developer cannot see this content, and it is never sent to any external server.
- Uninstalling the app deletes the entries on that device. Whether they are included in a device backup (for example Google backup) depends on the backup settings of your device and account.
3. Network use
The app uses the internet in one case only, and even then it sends none of your entries or personal data. Every asset, fonts included, ships inside the app, so nothing is downloaded while you write.

The distribution server is Cloudflare Pages, a content delivery network distributed around the world. Like any web server it may keep standard access logs such as the connecting IP address; the developer does not use them to identify anyone.

5. Payment
Purchases are handled by Google Play. The developer never receives payment details such as card numbers and sees only the sales statistics Google provides (country, quantity and other non-identifying data). Google Play's handling of your data is governed by Google's privacy policy.
6. Children
The app collects no information at all, so it processes no personal data from anyone, regardless of age.
7. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted on this page with a new effective date.
